Start Here: Is Abide University Right for Your Calling?

Before you choose a program, take time to ask better questions. This guide helps you discern whether your service, study, calling, and next season may fit Abide University's official assessment pathway.

Tool note: This page is a preparation tool, not an admission decision. Use it to organize your calling, evidence, and questions before using the official Abide University application pathway at www.abide.edu.kg.

What this tool can and cannot do

Can helpClarify your ministry story, identify evidence, and decide whether you are ready to apply.
Cannot promiseAdmission, credential conferral, employer acceptance, church acceptance, or third-party evaluation outcomes.
Best useComplete the exercise, ask a trusted ministry leader for feedback, then apply only if your record is clear and truthful.

Who this is for

This page is for Christians who have served long enough to know that calling is not a slogan. You may be a pastor, chaplain, Bible teacher, worship leader, missionary, Christian counselor, ministry volunteer, elder, deacon, or adult believer who has carried real responsibility in the Body of Christ.

Who this is not for

This pathway is not for someone who wants a title without formation, a credential without truthfulness, or recognition without accountability. If you are looking for an empty shortcut, this is the wrong starting point.

The central question

The question is not merely, 'Can I get a degree?' The better question is, 'Has Christ formed real learning, service, and fruit in my life that should now be stewarded through deeper theological assessment?'

Readiness checklist

Use this checklist slowly. A trustworthy tool should not rush you into a decision you cannot explain. It should help you make a clearer, more faithful decision.

  • I can describe years of Christian service with approximate dates.
  • I have taught, led, cared, discipled, served, or studied in ways others could confirm.
  • I can name theological subjects I understand and areas where I need growth.
  • I want recognition to serve the church, not inflate my image.
  • I am willing to represent my experience truthfully.

Action exercise

Write one paragraph beginning with: 'I believe Abide University may fit my calling because...' If you cannot write that paragraph honestly, spend time with 365 Day Abide before applying.

Decision point

If this tool brought clarity, do not let the moment dissolve into another open browser tab. Either begin the official application now or commit to a specific preparation step today.
